Our family likes saying this each morning: “Do good, have fun, and don’t fall much.”
It usually stems from our intentions for a day of skiing and boarding at the ski hill, and is accompanied by a fist bump between each of us.
It’s a pretty good intention, as intentions go, especially for the given activity.
This morning, when I asked Spirit what the intention is for today, I got, “Do good, have fun, and don’t fall much.”
But we aren’t going skiing today.
Do some work, play a bit, and rest.
Hmmm… I think I get it.
Find balance in my choices today.
The part about ‘not falling much’ is probably connected to this balance, so I don’t fall into old patterns (puns intended).
It’s a new day, with new potential.
Let’s see what good I can do, what fun I can have, and how I can lessen my falls.
