One doesn’t need to go far out of town to see the stars.
In fact, you can see the stars pretty well from within town, if it’s a clear sky. But we wanted to check it out with a little less influence of the ‘city lights’.
After nightfall, we decided to drive 10 minutes out of town to a Provincial Park and local beach called Taghum.
It was mega cold, and mega fun.
Crescent moon.
Shining Sirius.
Orien’s belt.
The Dippers.
Cassiopeia.
You name it, it was there.
Plus a bunch of other smaller stars making for one heck of a night sky.
Lucky us.
