One doesn’t need to go far out of town to see the stars.

In fact, you can see the stars pretty well from within town, if it’s a clear sky. But we wanted to check it out with a little less influence of the ‘city lights’.

After nightfall, we decided to drive 10 minutes out of town to a Provincial Park and local beach called Taghum. 

It was mega cold, and mega fun.

Crescent moon.

Shining Sirius.

Orien’s belt.

The Dippers.

Cassiopeia. 

You name it, it was there.

Plus a bunch of other smaller stars making for one heck of a night sky.

Lucky us.
